Rich, Adrienne
(b. 1929)
   American poet. Her first book of verse, A Change of World, was chosen by W. H. Auden for the Yale Younger Poets Award. Later she was Phi Beta Kappa poet at William and Mary College, Swathmore College, and Harvard. Her work includes Leaflets, Diving Into the Wreck, Poems: Selected and New and A Wild Patience Has Taken Me This Far.
